How can I apply for Housing?

We strive to make the application process as easy as possible for our potential residents. Applying for housing with us is simple and straightforward. All you need to do is fill out our Initial Assessment form. This form allows us to gather basic information about you so that we can determine if our program is a good fit for your needs.

Are you doing a background check?

Yes, we do conduct background checks as part of our rental application process. Our goal is to create a safe and supportive community for all our residents. Background checks help us ensure a secure living environment and allow us to address any specific needs or concerns right from the start.We understand that everyone has a unique history, and we approach each application with fairness and understanding.

What are your qualifications?

We welcome independent adults who are 18 years old and over. We require applicants to have a stable source of income to ensure they can meet their financial obligations, including rent and living expenses. This can include income from employment, government benefits, or other reliable sources.

What is the screening process?

You start by filling out our Initial Assessment form. If we determine that you may be a good fit for our program based on the Initial Assessment, our Program Director will give you a callback. During this conversation, we'll discuss your application in more detail and answer any questions you may have. This may include a more detailed assessment of your needs and preferences to ensure we can provide the right support for you. Once the assessment is complete, our Program Director will inform you of our decision. If accepted, we will discuss next steps for moving forward with the placement process.

Do you have an income limit?

We believe in providing housing opportunities for individuals from all walks of life, regardless of their financial situation. While we do consider income as part of our assessment process to ensure affordability and sustainability for our residents, we do not have a strict income limit. Our goal is to provide a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

What's the referral process?

You can begin by filling out our Initial Assessment Form. This form provides us with basic information about the potential client. It helps us determine if our housing program is a good fit for the client needs

How long can a person stay in one of these homes?

We do not impose a strict time limit on how long a person can stay with us. Our focus is on providing a safe, supportive, and comfortable living environment for as long as it is needed. Residents are welcome to stay with us indefinitely, as long as they continue to meet the basic requirements and guidelines of our community. Our goal is to offer a permanent housing solution where individuals can thrive and feel at home.

What counties do you serve?

We are dedicated to providing support and services to homeless individuals across several counties in Florida. Currently, we serve the following counties: Dade, Duval, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Polk, Our goal is to reach individuals in need across these communities, offering comprehensive assistance to help them regain stability and independence.

How many beds are available right now?

We currently have several vacancies available at our independent living facility, and we are actively welcoming new residents. Our team is dedicated to providing a supportive and nurturing environment for all individuals seeking a safe and independent living situation.
